AGUSTIN PEREZ
Agustin Perez from Barcelona is Key Account Manager Iberia and Latin America and his dedication to the insulation business is unmatched, as he has dedicated his entire career to working in the insulation sector, where he trained in both technical and commercial areas. Agustin has been a much valued member of the Knauf Insulation OEM team for 8 years and has 5 years ago joined also our TS team. At first it was a challenge for him, as the TS is a bit different from the OEM segment, but much efforts, his skills and the support from the colleagues, soon paid off and now days he feels very good in his shoes.
He knows the insulation field like footballers know theirs, so it’s safe to say he is our goal-getter, feeling motivated and just looking forward to what future in insulation may bring.
How did your story at Knauf Insulation begin?
I had been working in the insulation market for a long time before I joined TS and OEM teams, and Knauf Insulation has always been a benchmark. For me, it is a pleasure to work for this company.
What do you love the most about working in insulation?
I love this business because it gives me the opportunity to learn something new every day. This constant process of learning keeps me motivated.
How do you see the future of the insulation business?
Oh, I am very optimistic. If you just take a look at the numerous benefits of insulation and the reliable growth of this sector, it is safe to say that future looks bright.
What did the COVID-19 lockdown bring for you?
I have been able to see how important it is to have a comfortable home. I also realised that, although virtual meetings can help us in the future, contact with people is very important.
Which sports do you follow?
I like all sports but football, handball and golf are my favourites. I live in Barcelona, so of course I am a Barça fan.
Who is your hero?
My heroes are my parents, who taught me the values that I live by every day in my professional and private life.
